I have been looking around for an iPad appswitcher that would bring up something like this on the entire screen:

You can try using infinifolders and make a folder on your home screen, and then use zephyr to switch between them.

Not sure if there's anything like the launch pad in OS X

Problem with that is it won't reflect the apps in the app switcher, just a sort of "favorites" folder I would have to put together.
