iPad at 4G Speed Demo Video

    I live in DFW area and typically get 2-3 Mbps connections. That last page on the iPad was wayyyy too slow, never seen it that slow here.

    Looks great but the 4G network is only deployed in limited areas.

    I'm in SF, CA and the iPad 3G speed in the video doesn't look all that unusual for this city. In fact its pretty typical in a lot of areas around here, unfortunately.

    For the life of me, I just don't get the love affair between Apple and ATT - unless it's purely contractual. I can't think of two other companies whose basic DNA is so far apart.

    Yep, here in SF, right in the cradle of Silicon Valley, and we're stuck with bottom feeders ATT and Comcast for connectivity. The only time these two make the top of anyone's list is when the list is for the worst regarded companies in the world.

    That's weird I can guarantee that Washington dc already has 4g as well as the whole dc va md metro area, I use it daily getting as high up to 8mb download speed.

    Does anyone know the URL of the Sprint site they were loading with that iPad?

    I can't believe it would be that slow. I want to verify.
