iPad Backlight 'Spotlighting' fault

Just thought I would share this pic of my shiny new iPad with very uneven lighting on the right hand side of the screen, I have seen lots of posts about bleed on black but this is really obvious as seen here on a blank safari page, its looks as if there are spotlights shining across the screen from the right edge.

Needless to say it is awaiting RMA 🙁

Yikes! That is excessive. You don't have the brightness set to max do you?
Normally it should not be visible. Looks like a return or a call to apple care is in order. 😱

If it had any more spotlights it would be a disco. That's just freaky it's very obvious it's not normal yet in some weird way it looks fascinating. Good luck on your RMA.
