iPad backup can't complete

    Hi,

    My iPad currently has 4.3.1 on it, and when I try to sync, the backup just doesn't work. The iPad resets a couple of times, and eventually fails.

    I can complete a sync if I click the X to cancel the backup, and carry on with the rest.

    I have tried deleting the backup files in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ but it doesn't seem to help.

    I've only got one USB cable connected, and the computer is a 2009 Aluminium Macbook OSX 10.6.8

    I would like to upgrade to 4.3.3, but I can't do that until I get a full backup.

    Sounds like you may have to do a factory reset or full system restore
