Sorry if this is a redundant post. I've moved a lot of what I do to my new iPad Pro from my Mac. On my Mac, I took an extra precaution by backing up my Photos regularly to a flash drive. I know it is possible to get a USB adapter to Lightning and to import photos to the iPad Photos. However, is it possible to go the other direction and export photos to a flash drive? Thanks for any responses.
I can’t help with your exact question, but perhaps something like Dropbox or OneDrive would be an option? They can normally upload any new pictures automatically. That way you’d have 2 copies in differing cloud storage services.
Get a Drop Box account. My whole company uses it as it works across all platforms. I also back up weekly via an encrypted iTunes backup.
No need for accounts, buy one or two sandisk iXpand drives, download the free iOS app, plug the drive to the lightning port, and all photos in iPad album is transferred to the drive. As you have a Mac,you can then use USB to move photos from iXpand to the Mac. Faster and smoother than using internet services like iCloud,Dropbox or similar.
