iPad Bluetooth keyboard + iMessage... How to send?

What's Kik. How does it work??

Kik is a messenger app that only works with other Kik users, and there is no iPad app for it, so you have to use the stretched iPhone app which doesn't always want to turn to landscape. Wouldn't recommend it exactly but if you know other people with Kik it could be good I guess since you can use the enter key to send.

Bluetooth Keyboard Helper & latest jailbreak

For anyone that has a jailbroken iPad -- there is a tweak in Cydia called "Bluetooth Keyboard Helper" that changes the programming in the iOS so that command+enter sends messages! Just tried it, works!

UPDATE: I have a logitech keyboard fyi

fyi: currently Bluetooth Keyboard Helper isn't working with iOS 8 on the latest Pangu jailbreak. [Command] + [Enter] just crashes iMessage.

True. I really look forward for this tweak to be compatible with iOS8.

I also am looking for a solution. I use a Zagg Folio and the send button is partially covered by the keyboard making it a PITA to press send every time I want to send a message.

There's some discussion here, along with a link to a tweak on github. Requires a jailbroken ipad and manual installation, as this tweak isn't on Cydia. (I haven't personally tried this one, as most of the time when I'm using a BT keyboard, it's for heads down work completely offline, so I won't be distracted by iMessage. LOL)

Unfortunately, none of the Cydia BT keyboard tweaks that used to do this have been updated for iOS 8.
