Where do you usually have it & auto brightness off/on?
I set it off. I don't think it really does a good job of changing in different lightning conditions.
I usually have it at the lowest brightness setting, which I even find is too bright sometimes. Auto brightness is off.
Usually I leave auto brightness off, with the setting at 100%. But the last few days I've put it on auto to see if my battery life will improve any. That's the ONLY negative I find in this Gen 3. But the improvements over my iPad 1 far outweigh this.
Agree! Though I can say, the iPad 1 was most definitely brighter at lowest brightness than the iPad 3, even though they both still hurt my eyes in complete darkness.
