iPad buffers when connecting to the tv

    Hi all. I have An issue and I'm completely stumped. Anytime I try to use the Plex app the streaming works just fine on my iPad when not connected to the TV. But the moment I plug the lightning cable to hdmi adapter in, the video will stop after about five minutes or less and then it's like the tv doesn't even recognize that the iPad is connected to the tv.

    Any reason this should happen? I've ruled out network connectivity since the streaming video works great when not connected to the tv.

    Oh wait. I think I just solved it. I need to set the screen timeout to never instead of 5 minutes.

    I too have purchased pled for iOS but haven't really mucked around with it yet as I'm waiting to get my iPad.

    Can you answer me this?

    Are you able to store video files locally on the iPad using pled? Or do I need to buy an extra update to plex to be able to do this?
