I entered a couple of appointments into my ipad calendar yesterday, but they haven't synced with my google calendar. All the instructions I've found on the Web are to sync from google to ipad/iphone. Is it possible to sync from ipad calendar to google calendar?

Well, it ought to be working then. However, I've already seen enough of this so I'm not surprised.

I think you should delete the account from the iPad, then add it again. You'll lose any appointments that didn't sync with Google, but anything at Google should come back down when you re-sync.

Settings>Mail>Calendar>default account.

That will make this not happen again in the future by automatically saving new events to google. But for now, you'll have to readd the appointments to make them go to gmail.

Try Exchange

I had the same problem, fixed it by going to

Settings-> Mail, Contact, Calendars->Exchange ->

Make sure Google Calendar is listed as one of the accounts and is ON

Good luck!

This is not gonna work if he is using gmail through IMAP. And any new exchange connections will just fail 🙁
