ipad cannot allocate memory

I had this problem which arose completely out of the blue and it neary drove me mad.
i could not update as it would not connect to internet even though it was showing an internet connection and my macbook and iphone were working perfectly.
i contacted a few people but they could not help me ,i tried restoring which did not help either

Finally i decided to set my ipad up as a new one and hey presto! it worked .
Am now up and running again... ps do not forget to back up first 🙂
