Since updating to iOS 6 my location on my iPad cannot be determined. Location services are switched to on, all the settings are the same as before and nothing on my wireless router has changed either.

What have I done wrong? How can I get my iPad to recognise my location again? There are so many apps that reply on location services, it is quite a problem!

I have googled the problem but nothing relevant seems to come up. 😱

Did anyone else experience this with their update?

(I only updated two days ago when google released their map app)

EDIT: Solution. I fixed this by rebooting my iPad, (pressing and holding the home and power buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appeared and then releasing). When the iPad finished the reboot, trying location services again cleared the problem. Simple. Hope this helps someone else out someday.

I must say, your solution worked for me also.
Not sure why one would need to do that and why it stopped working unless you do a hard reboot.

Thanks!

Hard reboot seems to resolve a lot of problems on the iPad. When I'm having an issue with an app, the first thing I try is hard reboot.
