Hi

I’m looking to buy a case for my iPad A16. I want one of common slim cases where the cover folds into a triangle.

The majority out there have quite brittle plastic backs that tend to crack at the corners. Can anyone recommend one with a slightly softer plastic/hard rubber back?

TIA.

A recommendation:

I've usually only used Apple's own folio cases, but since the color selection for the iPad A16 is quite limited, I had to find another brand. I chose the ESR Rebound Magnetic Case, and I have to admit that the quality is quite close to Apple's. The case also has a microfiber lining on the inside, and the magnets are just as strong, if not stronger, than in Apple Folios - and the price is half the price. They can often be found at a good price on Amazon.

I’m thinking of getting that iPad case if I happen to win the A16 iPad from the Autodesk X Olympics Instructables contest.

I’m especially interested in the newer ESR Flip Case, which has a vertical stand that the Smart Folio, Smart Cover, and the old Smart Case don’t have.

I’ve heard some mixed reviews on YouTube about it sometimes wobbling, so do you think these cases hold up well when you tap on them or use the Apple Pencil a lot? In my opinion, I’ll mostly use it to extend my display for sidecar with my MBP, take notes, draw/design, and watch fitness+ videos.
