iPad chat app?

    Are there any good IM apps out yet for iPad? just got mine and beejive in iPhone mode looks pretty pathetic on the big screen

    If all you need is aim the aim iPad app is great. Haven't looked at the multi network apps yet.

    Besides AIM and IM+, non that I saw. Both are native iPad apps now.

    I use googletalk mostly but have a couple friends stuck on aim... so I need both

    What is Aim iPad? I assume it not interfaced with iPhone folks...Guess that would be too easy/free.

    I use BeeJive on my iPhone. Hopefully it will translate
    over to the iPad when I get it.

    One nice thing about IM+ is that you can chat and surf the web at the same time.

    wow, that sounds like what I'll be using my iPad for 80% of the time...will have to look into that app, thanks

    I bought the im+ and push on the ipad doesn't work yet which is the only thing I don't like thus far

    Sorry to bring back an old thread but i have searched on this topic and most post are older. Are there any new apps that do a better job of chat.

    Saw that one, it is $10.00, Not opposed to paying for it but i bought one called rooms or irc rooms and it is not easy to use.

    Does beejive have chat rooms that you can join, seems like most others (Aim, IM+) are just for individualconverstaions.
