X xMBPx macrumors regular Mar 16, 2011 #6 I just ordered that aluminum one posted above. It looks awesome and just like Apple's. However, I was able to get it on buy.com for $34 shipped 🙂. Lot better than the $50 dreamgear is asking. Now I know why they're called "dreamgear."

Piggie macrumors G3 Mar 16, 2011 #7 It would be pretty easy to make something almost the same from a variety of materials. How can you patent a round thing cut at an angle. It must be specific to that exact size/material.

H hexproject macrumors member Original poster Mar 16, 2011 #8 I would like to know what kind of claims they are claiming! also, seems like only in EURO. but if someone makes something, but smaller, or different material, like the aluminum, then can apple sue them? Still can't find the same patent in USA. maybe USA they didn't grant them the patent?
