Space Gray. The face is 'complete' when the screen is off. When it's on, the black bezel frames the screen nicely.

Agreed. I used to own a white iPad (2 and mini, back to back but not at the same time). Last time I went with Space Gray and same this time with my Air 2. It looks better IMO.
