iPad connection issues: iTunes,iBooks,App store

My Internet browsing is fine, so it's not my wireless connection...but I am having sporadic luck in getting the various Apple stores to load. This seems to have started this week (are the stores being overrun by new iPhone users?), and I'm at a loss.

Anyone else with the same problem?

I have issues all the time on anything that connects to the Internet - it will be fine for a while then just hang. I have to either restart the iPad or or turn wifi on/off.

My laptop and iPhone are fine so I know it's not my internet, it's really bugging me now - anyone think mine might be faulty or is this quite common?
