iPad Connection Kit for more storage?

I wonder if you can use the connection kit to get more storage on the iPad. Perhaps an external USB hard drive or a 64gb SD card?

I'd really if it could connect to an external HDD, would persuade me to get one at launch possibly

There is an iDisk app available for the iPhone, so assuming you have a Mobile Me account, it'll take a while to upload but it's possible.

I hope Apple releases an App to allow us to access external drives on our network, though.
