iPad connection to TV

Can I connect my ipad2 to a HD tv and watch Sky Go etc on it? An do I need an adapter and HDMI cable?

You either want a HDMI adapter and cable or an Apple TV, the first is cheaper, but the second is more sexy.

Ok cheers, just I work away a lot and it's just for the tv in the hotels. Does Apple TV work with just wifi or do I need Ethernet connection. Only wireless in the hotel.

Also heard that Sky Go doesn't work with it?

You do need to verify that the app(s) you're using will output video. Can't speak for Sky Go but HBO Go will not. HDCP and all that...

Cheers mate, yeah sky go must be same as hbo go, it won't have it....
