iPad Pro iPad cover switch not working.

iPad Pro 2nd gen, 12.9 iOS 17.3.
I have tried reboot and have toggled all of the suggested settings, but the cover is no longer waking/sleep my iPad. Do these switches ever go bad?
I haven’t tried a reload yet.

Have you tested with a different case, like in a Best Buy or Apple store?
