Mine did too!! Same config -WiFi only. Card charged and preparing to ship!! Haha!! Just sold my and shipped my iPad Air 2020 out yesterday’s and I really miss my iPad!!! So glad to see movement on this. Earlier than I expected!!!

12.9/256/WiFi/Silver No Engraving. I just got a message from the online store that the payment was declined. Called Apple to find out what happened and they said that because my AppleCare monthly charge for my iPhone charged to the account balance automatically, it couldn't authorize for the full amount it was supposed to. They were able to straight it out and everything is back on track. Looks like I'll be getting a 'Preparing for Shipment' notification soon. Yaaay! My stomach just about caved in on itself when I got that message.

Something very similar happened to me. I called they fixed and it went to Preparing to Ship 30 min later.

The first that came to mind was Noooooooo I'm gonna have to wait until July. And the self-service options kept making it sound like I needed to come up with the full $1200 payment, not the $9.99 difference. Crisis averted!OMG

Nope, but my date is June 3-9 even though I ordered it only a few minutes after orders opened.
My luck kinda always sucks with pre-orders, end up getting it for pickup on launch day in store most of the time.
Crossed my fingers when I read these last replies and behold! Hopefully it’s more May 21st than the 28th.
No engraving on mine.
