    Hi Guys,

Here what I am looking to do.

I have a projector connected to a laptop running powerpoint.
This is projecting to the front of the room onto a white screen.
I am going be presenting on the stage and want to be able to use the ipad to draw on the presentation that is being displayed.
I also want to be able to see the presentation on the ipad to mark it accurately.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and what adapters and the configuration looks like ?

Well I do something close to that with Keynote Remote (a $1 Apple app) to read notes and advance slides on my MBP (which is hooked up to a projector) but I don't think it has writing capability. I vaugely remember something about some simulated laser pointer capability to show stuff on the screen, but haven't actually seen the feature (or needed it).

BTW the app is still an iPhone App - not even retina display - let alone full iPad resolution. I really hope they upgrade it sometime.

the pointer only works on iPhone

Not sure why that feature didn't make it to the zoomed iPad variant.
