Alright so this is what I have a question about. I have Real Racing 2 HD for my new iPad. Well, apparently I'm going to return and get a 32gb ipad, as I have the 16gb right now. I want all my data on Real Racing 2 HD to be on my new ipad. Does game center save game data or is there a way I can transfer the data that was on my old ipad to my new one? Does itunes implement this?

When you plug your new iPad into your computer it will give you the option to restore from the backup of your previous one - and this will restore all settings and saved games in all apps.

Ok
So another angle here

I have an iPad 1, got my iPad 3 today, and will give the 1 to the wife once it's factory reset

I have 5-6 games i want my saved games moved to the iPad 3 but I don't want to muddy the shiny new iPad 3 with a restoration from an iPad 1

So what are the best options here, surely others are in the same boat
gamecentre, iCloud, etc?

I want that nice new, clean iPad 3 install image from day one, but don't want to go and redo all the hard work on great games such as:

- Infinity Blade
- Silversword
- Galaxy on Fire 2
- Backstab
- Carnivores

I think the rest I can do from scratch

Will put this under a new thread as well, as cant find a definitive answer here

Search google for a pc (possibly mac too) application called iExplorer. This will let you explore and copy file to/from your iPad/iPhone. (No jail breaking required).

If you search around a bit you should be able to find the folders for the app you want to back up. Either work out which files you want to save or just copy the whole folder onto your computer from the old device and then cop them onto the new one.
