Ipad home button

This is probably the sadest question ever but I'm in the uk and was wondering if the ipad home Button was like the iPhone 3g/3gs or like the iPhone 2g and all three iPod touchs if you don't know what I mean it's like the iPod touches and 2g has a better quality clicking feel to it

The home button on my iPad does feel a bit better than my iPhone 3g.
