    Hey guys.

I'm thinking about buying an Apple iPad video av cable to plug my iPad into my TV. I want to put christmas films on my iPad but I can't be bothered converting them so I'll use VLC. Will the video cable work with VLC or is it only 'Videos' that can be shown on a tele?

    thanks

I'm thinking you should just wait for iOS 4.2 and get an AppleTV and do the AirPlay thing. Less clutter, no wires or cables, and easy playback.

Hmm that'd be nice but my livingroom TV is not an HD TV, the TV in my room is HD though.

    So I bought this:

£25 which includes a 4GB USB stick. It can play AVI files which is what I want :)
