I love my iPad2. Other than the mobility of buying the iPod, is there any other any advantages to owing one if you already have an iPad?

Edit: Forget about the thumb down icon. It looked like a question mark at first.

Not sure really, but I own an iPad 1 and iPod touch 64GB.

I suppose it's cheaper to buy a 64GB iPod touch than it is a 64GB iPad 1 or 2. That's the only thing I can think of.

not really others then mobility for me ... yes, my iPod has a retina but as a pure music box its not really that important. But its very slim and fit everywhere. I would like an iPod Nano instead but that one don't support WiFi/AirPlay and Bluetooth.

My iPad 2 and iPod (5th Gen) have no problem being together in the backpack.

I often pair the iPod with my keyboard, open Evernote or Elements, and make notes in there while reading on the iPad.
