I am a developer but I could only afford 1 iPad so I am using my everyday iPad as my development device. But I'm needing to take it to the genius bar, if I downgrade from iOS 5 to iOS 4 will Apple still service my iPad or is there still traces of iOS 5 on there after downgrading?

I'm sure there would be traces, but none that they would check. They don't plug in the iPad into the computer and start going through all the files in the library. They really only care if Cydia is present on the homescreen or not. I'd just backup the iPad and click restore as new, so there would be nothing, not that it matters anyways.
