iPad Ipad Jailbreak Issue

I have a issue with my Sons iPad mini. I used it while my iPad was in for repair.
I tried syncing it to my sons iTunes account but because I restored it and jail broke it on the latest jailbreak at the time 7.0.6.

I must of linked it to my iTunes now when I try and re-sync it to his iTunes I am getting a message it can only be linked to one iTunes account and giving me the option to cancel or erase it to link it to his.

If I erase it does it just wipe the data or would it restore it loosing the jailbreak.

It will not remove the jailbreak. it will remove anything which was transferred from your iTunes account when you delete your AppleID off the device.
