iPad jailbreak preparation?

Hi.

I'm about to install Spirit on my iPad, to simplify certain tasks, however as iPad is barely supported, I want to prepare myself to restore easily.

What steps should I take as a precaution?

Save your SHSH files. If you don't know how to do this, then search for SHSH. There are countless threads on how to do this. Good luck.
