I'm not sure that 'joke' is quite the appropriate word.

I'm hijacking this thread temporarily because it's a good test case for this:

When I followed the link on iPad, it loaded YouTube to watch the vid. I quit watching before it finished and switched apps back to Safari.

Safari was showing a blank white screen underneath the titlebar. When I rotated the screen, the titlebar rotates, but the white box overlaying the screen will not go away. Even when I close the tab, switch to another tab, etc. I have to shut down Safari through multitasking.

This happened on my old iPad too. Is this only me..? Seems like a major issue, and I haven't heard anyone else mention it. Have I been under a rock?

I thought it was just me.

I have the same problem. I started a thread for this a while ago. I think myself along with fellow Mac rumor users found that it's a problem when safari takes you to the YouTube app. Here's the link:

I've been having that problem as well but I hadn't connected it to YouTube until now.

That's some unfortunate video editing at about 20 seconds. I thought, woah… That girl has one hairy chin!

I can confirm that this has not been fixed in 4.3.2.

It seems to have undergone the 'improvement' that Safari automatically crashes shortly after the problem occurs, thus at least meaning you don't have to manually shut it down using the multitasking bar...
