I suppose this applies to both iPad docks, but I thought I should share it with everybody who is considering either of the iPad docks.

The big disappointment for me is the fact that the line-out on the docks disable the volume controls on the iPad and the keyboard. Therefore, you have to connect your line out to the headphone jack to get full control.
I think I understand why this is done, the volume is kept at maximum so that the input audio devices have the best signal to modulate locally, this is particularly important for home theaters. But with a setup like the keyboard dock which turns your iPad into a pseudo-desktop system with the potential for a connected speaker system, this doesn't seem to make sense.
