Ipad keynoard comes to the middle

I can hardly see the screen typing this but my ipad on screen keyboard comes to the middle of the screen. Even tried restartinng it but that did not help

That is normal in the horizontal mode. You might try portrait.

Mine just started this also? Is it a iOS 5 bug or did my daughter accidentally mess something up? Lol

new feature in iOS5 ... you can split keyboard and move it... click and hold on the bottom right button of the keyboard and bring it back down. you can also split keyboard and reposition.

To split the keyboard you must first go into the Settings app to General and turn on Split Keyboard.
