iPad locked up on ABC player (over wifi)

Just stuck there on one frame. Of course its just BEFORE they fire the rocket to blow up the V ship. Couldn't be during .... or right after lol 🙄

Not one single button does anything. Nor does holding any button down do anything.

So far my plan is to let the battery run down lol but I was curious about any other options.

I was thinking maybe plugging it in to force a sync. ??

tried that before.


now I've plugged it in to the desktop and done it again and it rebooted

pay close attention if it keeps locking up. it's a known hardware defect. my wifi launch one kept locking up on streamed video (abc, netflix, youtube, safari video, etc.) there are a few threads here at MR including mine.

i also found this thread (and others) on the apple support forum:

i ended up taking it into apple and they swapped mine out. the new one didnt have the problem.

not that i'm aware of. mine was a 16gb wifi. my 16gb 3g is fine as well.

Mine has never locked up or froze and it's the same model#
