Since this morning my email (Comcast server) on my iPad Air 2 (running 11.2) cannot connect. I get a message reading “the mail server imap.comcast.net s not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings.”
I have repeatedly reentered the password but it doesn’t help. (This is also happening on my iPhone today, coincidentally). I CAN get my mail by going the webmail route.
Earlier this week I had to change my password. All devices were working well after the password change but suddenly they are not. Advice? Thanks in advance.
 
Often deleting and then recreating the email account on the iPad solves these issues. Something might have gotten out of sync.
 
The problem fixed itself about an hour after I posted. Strange. This has happened before. Thanks for the tip!
