iPad Mail Question

Are mail messages downloaded and stored in the iPad Mail app or do you just see a view of the inbox on your pop3 mail server?

For pop3 mail servers in general, they download the messages to the system (this would be the same situation on your laptops mail client too). IMAP is what gmail uses where the messages are on their server and u kinda get a snapshot.
