Will be unusable. I have both. They were fluid on iOS 7. Ok on iOS 8 and hardly tolerable onwards of iOS 9/10. They’re currently on iOS 10.3.2. I wont even upgrade them to iOS 11.

Just to clarify, do you have the Air or Air 2?

Anyway, iPad mini 2 is supported but I expect would be somewhat laggy. Same for iPad Air. How tolerable the lag is depends on you.

iPad Air 2, early reports are no significant slowdowns on iOS 11 beta.

Air 1 and Mini 2.

Haven’t tried iOS 11 on either. But they’re barely usable on iOS 9/10. Currently on iOS 10.3.2.

Won’t even bother trying them with iOS 11 based on the above and YT videos.

Lol...iPad Air 2 on iOS 7? Did that iPad really exist when we used iOS 7? The question is about iPad Air 2,which is going to be well supported by iOS 11. I use latest official iOS version in mine,never seen any significant problems caused by iOS.

I haven’t tried it but I’m sure Air 2 and Mini 4 will be fine on iOS 11. Mini 2 not so much.
