iPad mini iPad Mini 2 or 4 for Mum?

I am still rocking the original mini with very few issues.....but I have not updated the OS in a few years....not sure if that is why or not. Its probably slow but I have nothing to compare to so I am used to it.

What iOS version is it on? If it's on iOS 6 it is running fantastic and you should never update it. It will have poor app support but you can sort of get around this by purchasing on another newer device, then it will ask if you want to download an older version for iOS 6 if it's available.

If it's on iOS 7 then it's doing *decent*, do not update it past iOS 7 by any means. My friend updated his iPad mini 1 to iOS 9 and it is a total disaster compared to my iPad mini 2 which still isn't even fantastic everywhere either.
