I currently have 9.3.3 whose jailbreak goes away automatically randomly (or maybe when I reinstall).
Should I upgrade to some newer version (10.x), if yes which one?
I need jailbreak.

If you were to update it, your only option (currently) would be iOS 10.2.1, which is the only iOS version being signed right now.

Regarding the decision to update or not, I am not sure what the best course of action is. My daughter has my old mini 2, which is still on 9.3.2. It has so little free space that it can't download the latest iOS. She never gets the pestering to update so many hate.

It isn't jailbroken, but I could JB it still. I am basically dragging my feet until I "decide".

So the itching has begun again.

Which is the iOS 10.x version which we can update to now?
Should I stay on 9.3.3 or update to some 10.x? If yes, which 10.x? Need JB.

Only 10.2.1 and 10.3 betas are being signed by Apple now, and now of those are jailbreakable.

Even on 9.3.3 I am unable to JB it because it says I need to donate to get Full JB. Is there no way to get Full JB without paying $$ ?

Jailbreaks are never charged for. It sounds like you found something fake. You can check the jailbreak section to get more information about jailbreaking.

Fake JB. Dont do that. Don't update either. iOS 10 made my iPad have more memory management issues and slowdowns. A lot of animations got a lot smoother I will admit, but with a jailbreak you can solve a lot of that.

If you update to iOS 10 you'll be dumped on iOS 10.2.1 or iOS 10.3 and those are unlikely to be jailbroken anytime soon, if ever. People are saying this is the last jailbreak (iOS 10.0-10.2) we will see.. ever.

meh. the 9.3 jailbreak is annoying. It dies randomly (especially when charging overnight) without rebooting. Opening the messages app would occasionally will kick me into safe mode and the entire phone became unstable. Only had less than 5 tweaks that are pretty famous.

Just wiped it and still running stock 9.3.

Update iOS 10 started alittle rough and this is a person with a Air 2 so my device isn't slow but they fixed the minimal stutters in iOS 10.2.1 and now with iOS 10.3 the new file system further improves General responsiveness and bugs are squashed. You'd notice a improvement from iOS 9 as even on a Air 2 I can feel how iOS 10 is smoother and more responsive than iOS 9 had been not to say iOS 9 was bad but iOS 10 continues to keep my Air 2 runnning like it was from day 1. If you do update I do suggest you do a full DFU restore through iTunes though as your jailbreak needs to be entirely wiped as well as any old app caches and what not. Another thing is if you upgrade wait till 10.3 to release it should be either later this week or early next but definetly worth waiting for that before jumping on the iOS 10 wagon

What iPad do you have? I'm surprised your iOS 10 experience hasn't been well. I've heard overall positive things from any A7 or newer device

iPad mini 2. It ALWAYS has stuttered a lot. Even with its shipping OS, iOS 7. iOS 8 brought in new issues. iOS 9 fixed some, but brought in others. iOS 10 fixed quite a lot of the stuttery animations (but also introduced a couple others...), but in general, load times and general system responsiveness seems to have just gotten worse.
