Are all the iPad mini 2019 display panels the same manufacturer? How can I check what mine is?

Mine has a yellowish tint that is exacerbated when using my 6s Plus next to it. Very distracting and annoying.

If I exchange will I probably get the same result? Or I got a lemon

Have you tried disabling true tone? Outside of that, I think the 6 and 6s plus have quite cool panels, I noticed my 8 plus was significantly warmer and there were a lot of similar comments when they changed to the P3 equipped panel with the 7 plus. Probably just that the mini's panel tends towards being warmer.

Yeah True Tone and night mode off, 100% brightness next to the iPhone 100% brightness and it’s quite noticeable..

So that’s just the new panels? Looks weird compared to the 6s plus.

I also noticed the black is not even black on the iPad... sucks.

no iPad black levels are true blacks. They are either dark gray, shades of gray/black, or purple tint. They all use LCDs.

The Mini line has a horrible contrast ratio because of how bright blacks are. But the latest Mini appears yellow because it’s white point is closer to 6500K, which in effect makes the Mini more accurate for what “white” really is. It’s the 6s that’s off as it’s white point is above 7000K.

So are you guys saying the panels are all warm on purpose? I went back to Best Buy and their display iPad is definitely more cooler than mine.

Is there some sort of break in period where it changes over time?

Mine has a slight purple tint under completely black viewing, but it doesn't bother me.
