I sold my iPad Pro 12.9 recently because I wasn’t using it to very much maybe due to the size.

Anyways I’m curious if I should pull the trigger for a mini now or will Black Friday have sales for them?

Up to you to decide what's good for you.

For me, the mini size is much too small, and there is no matching keyboard either (which makes sense because that would also be way too small).

OTOH, like you, I find the 12.9" way too big. The perfect size for me is the 10.5" or 11".

I would still love to see apple make a flat edged ipad mini pro with apple pencil 2 support...but I am not gonna hold my breath.

I just bought the 64gb Mini 5 today. For me it's the perfect size and weight. I don't mind the bezels at all, my only grip is the lightning port.
