iPad mini 4 screen seems very dim

i just bought an iPad mini 4 last night, and the screen seems very dim to me, but the only thing I have to reference it against is my iPhone 5c. Can anyone give me any insight? Is this how they are?

Take it back. Might be defective. Its supposed to have an amazing display. From what Ive seen I love it. Maybe turn up the brightness?

I find it to be fairly bright. I never even have it above 50% brightness.

Same here, the auto-bright keeps my Mini 4 much brighter than the 6S does.

I pretty much have it at full most of the time.

As Slymaster13 said take it back. I find the screen very bright when set at 50%

I use my mini 4 at about 60% brightness and it is plenty bright enough. The devices vary and if you have to use 100%, it may or may not be defective, but I think you should return it.

The screen on my iPad Mini 4 is very bright. Take yours back it's defective.

We just took delivery of 35 of this same model at work last week. 7 of them were very dim. It's a defect Apples aware of. Don't worry just return yours Apples very good about replacing defective units. It's mass produced, they can't all be fine.
