Early impressions on your battery life?

I’ve had one full charge and here is what I got.

14 hours, 13 minutes
83 hours standby

My main usage is for at work, going to my GF’s and just when I need easier access. Even when it’s sitting in my bag I don’t switch it off so maybe I should do really when it just stays in my bag when at home. As at home I mainly use my air 2.

I don't have the specs, but with my Mini 2 I would run for 3 days using it as much as I wanted before a recharge. Now on my iPad Mini 4 I have to recharge at the end of 2 days. Technical? No, real life? Yes.
Be sure to turn off Background App Refresh. it's a battery killer and not needed imo.

Yeah I have it off on all my devices. Amazing how much it makes a difference

I'd say your battery life looks fine. I typically get about 12-14 hours of usage and 2-3 days of standby. I use it frequently for web surfing, email, social media, document viewing, and a little bit of youtube and netflix. Background app refresh and most push notifications turned off. Auto brightness.

Remember, Apple claims 10 hours of web surfing, so anything more than that is good.

Similar experience to Ron7264. I'd get 3 days on my mini 2, but just over a day on the mini 4. Just now turned off app background refresh .

This may be a stupid question but where do I turn off Background App Refresh please? Thanks
