Hello,

I just purchased an iPad mini 4 wifi+cellular 128GB and I am puzzled to see the screen has a yellowish tint compared to my iPhone 6s plus, my iMac, my wife's macbook pro and her iPad mini 2. I am comparing the same apps or same photos, etc. Should I go back to apple or it's normal on this model?

Also, I actually had the iPad mini 4 wifi only for the last few days and exchanged it to the wifi+cellular model and it didn't seem to have that yellowish screen problem..

Anyone?

Thank you :)

Edit: I am wondering if it could be just a brightness issue were it doesn't go as bright as the other apple product I own and being a bit ''darker'' creates this slight yellowish tint?

Dominic,
I'm no expert but I've read that the Ipad mini 4 has a different screen than the other minis and that it is double layered to give a clearer and more colorful image. It shouldn't look yellow but there should be a significant difference in colors than the other minis, it should actually look better.

My Mini 4 has a warmer (not uneven or yellow) screen compared to my other Apple devices. When I use it away from other devices it looks perfectly white to me. Try using it away from the other devices and see if you're ok with the screen. If you're not happy with it after that test I would return it within the no questions asked exchange period and buy another. Also if possible go to an Apple store and look at other Mini 4 screens for comparison.

Have you checked the "Night shift" settings?
