I recently bought an iPad mini 5 which I am very pleased with for the most part.

The only thing is that when the screen is viewed from any other angle other than directly top down it has a very slight reddish hue to it.

Has anyone else noticed this? Starting to annoy me a bit!

My Mini 5 has great viewing angles without any shift in color when tilting it.

How long have you owned your Mini 5 and when did you first notice that behavior?

I have had it for about a week now.

Sort of noticed it to star off with and then as I've used it more it's become more apparent.

Comparing against my iPad pro 9.7 you can definitely notice it.

Have true tone off but can see the hue shift in both cases.

Looking again you can see the differences top down too.

Just wondering if this is something thats a replacement issue or if it's within a normal screen variation tolerance...?

Would you be bothered by it?

That doesn't seem to be within a normal screen variation. If mine exhibited that symptom I wouldn't keep it. I would return it for a refund, and then buy another one.

Ok thanks for your feedback :)
