But isn’t the mini a 7.9” display vs the 8.4 that this thread claims? So either the screen size is still the same, the thread subject is wrong or it will indeed be a redesign.

Just asking: Could they not keep the same dimensions and reduce the bezel to obtain the 8.4 size?

I want a redesigned Mini too with Air speakers and Apple Pencil 2 compatibility.

This. These dudes just throw out anything in hopes of getting preorders, then worry about actual details later. You can't read anything into these. So in others words, WYSINWYG.
