Yes. FaceID, please. I know people love their 120Hz screens, and Apple should absolutely give the next iPad mini a 120 Hz display. But as the owner of an iPad mini 7, the lack of FaceID is my biggest complaint. The TouchID in the power button is an endless source of minor frustrations.OLED 120 hz ,Display Zoom , Face ID
Please!
Mine too. I pick it up and just look at it, waiting for it to open like my 16PM does. It's a jarring experience. In my meaningless opinion, all iPhones and iPads should have the option of FaceID.But as the owner of an iPad mini 7, the lack of FaceID is my biggest complaint.
Yeah. When I read that I was hoping it would be just from the bezels getting smaller. The iPad mini does not need to be larger.I’m not sure I love the rumors about the screen getting larger.
I guess it remains to be seen what the physical size will do, but we like the mini for the mini part

Concerning for sure.
The iPad mini is not currently "too small" or anything.
In fact, it's actively chosen by those of us who use it specifically for its small size.
I like the form factor of the Mini, but it's a bit rich for my blood. I do wish there was a non-premium version -- something like the standard vanilla iPad, but smaller.
This, this, this. Not letting go of IPad Mini 5 for as long as possible. Still my favorite Apple device ever.I wish they would make the screen more 4:3 again.

I waited for a sale so I could justify it. At the regular price I could not.I like the form factor of the Mini, but it's a bit rich for my blood. I do wish there was a non-premium version -- something like the standard vanilla iPad, but smaller.
I agree about having the option, but I like to keep a Touch ID device at my bed for early in the morning when I have dry sleepy eyes that can’t look straight yet, and where Face ID horribly fails. I prefer the old Home button Touch ID for that, though.Mine too. I pick it up and just look at it, waiting for it to open like my 16PM does. It's a jarring experience. Liquid Glassy!New feature: Enhanced Jelly scrolling ????
Unless it's the same tandem OLED that is currently used in the Pro models, I don't think you'll get what you're looking for. Display analysts have been touting single-layer LTPS technology for future versions of the iPad mini and Air, probably for cost reasons. They could use a tandem OLED that uses a LTPS backplane but it wouldn't be cheap. We need more brightness. I use my mini exclusively in aviation and in a bright cockpit, the current mini can be hard to see as it's not quite bright enough.
Totallly agree after having a the iPad Mini 7 for a few months.Yes. FaceID, please. I know people love their 120Hz screens, and Apple should absolutely give the next iPad mini a 120 Hz display. While I'm glad to see some changes coming to the device, these won't be enough to get me to upgrade from my Mini 7. However, these plus ProMotion and FaceID would make it an instant upgrade for me.

My thoughts exactly. If they do OLED at 1000 nits I’d buy it and only have to carry 1 device instead of my kindle and my iPad Pro when I travel. If they did OLED, I might be willing to use a Mini in place of my Kindle paperwhite.
