On previous 7" tablets I found them unusable - too small. Using GoodReader on my new Mini, they are just large enough to be comfortable to read. The extra inch made a world of difference. Definitely love the new Mini.

Ha! That's funny. Not married and gainfully employed (and no rug-rats to worry about). Actually I walked out of the Apple Store with an iPad 4!
No need to dance around an opinion - it's just that, an opinion. The display is average at best. It's not the end of the world, but worth noting for those of us who are picky and feel strongly that the display is the most important feature on a tablet.
If you like it, go wild with it!
LOL just kidding with ya. And you're right it's just an opinion. I do love my mini though.
