iPad Mini Delivering on Nov 2nd??

I don't remember this being mentioned specifically in the keynote, but I assume that since the iPad Minis will be available in stores on 11/2, then all the pre-order shipments will arrive on that day also..? I'm going overseas on 11/3, so I will likely pre-order a Mini if it'll definitely arrive on the 2nd.

It should. When Apple says a major product ships on X day, that usually means it'll be shipped a few days before and arriving on X day.

I'm not sure if it means it ships on November 2nd or will be on your doorstep that day. You have a unique situation, and if I were you, I'd get into a chat room with an Apple rep or pick up the phone and call. You don't want to be disappointed.

The iPhone 5 was certainly delivered on release day in the UK. Same goes for most (all?) new releases from Apple recently.
