iPad mini iPad Mini - Lightning to dock adapter in speaker stand

Hey All,

Easy question I hope. I've got an existing dock based Logitech speaker system, and I'd like to buy an iPad Mini and use it with it as well. I can't imagine Apple's adapter will support the weight required to hold an iPad mini properly on it.

Is there any adapter that will?

You could use the cable form of the adapter, but that means you won't be able to slot the Mini into the system. Other than that, it would still be usable.

Yeah, I did think of that, but not as elegant as I'd like obviously.

I don't think there is a safe way to use a lightening device in a 30 pin dock besides the previously mentioned cable.
