iPad mini ipad mini LTE delivery date

Mine slipped from the 21 to the 26.

Have one on reserve at Apple store for pickup today. Tired of the slipping.
 
Mine has slipped to the 23rd so I'm trying to find one in town. There were none available last night using the Apple reservation system.
 
I'm in the UK and pre-ordered one the moment pre-orders opened.

Until yesterday the delivery was "late November" but now it says shipping in 1-2 weeks, delivery 30th November to 7th December.

The waiting continues...

I know everyone is dissing Apple for the delivery date changes, but am wondering what part FedEx plays, or even the customs bureaucrats who have to sign off on the shipments.

Today I noticed bright red lettering on my FedEx tracking info stating that they will be getting back to "normal" in the northeast.

I called today they said due to the theft at the airport they had to ship out more iPads which messed with there system and they said it should still be there by the first expected delivery date promised
