Very good considering not many people are buying the 3rd gen. Get a 64 or 128gb to have an even better chance.

Higher capacity models definitely have a greater chance of still having iOS 8.4 on them.

I bought a 64 GB iPad mini 3 and it had 8.4 on it. I'm guessing Apple manufactures these throughout the year?
